In sharing a burden through love
is half a burden’s weight
made easier to be carried
through those we can relate

seeing that one has gone before
through a valley so dark
and hearing of testimony
how God had done His part

lifts the burden to a degree
where there’s confidence in faith
having hope to continue on
not carrying the weight
____
being refreshed in the inner man
from love that’s shared in Christ
brings peace upon a troubled soul
when two shall pray in might
____
requesting that God intercede
with answers that will come
all burdens have a resting place
at the feet of God’s Son
____
and then the strength to carry on
comes only from above
when weaknesses are made perfect
through Jesus Christ in love
____
for He cares for you in earnest
to send a servant near
who’ll minister to you in prayer
for a burden to bear
